Approval steps

  1. Head of the requester's department

    1 approver

    Every purchase request

  2. Finance director

    1 approver

US$10,000 or more · authority level 3 or above

Publishing a change creates a new version. Applications already in flight keep the rules they started with.

  • Forms that fit the request

Each approval type has its own fields: amounts, dates, choices, attachments, help text. Requesters see only what that request needs.

  • Flows that follow your rules

Steps that apply only above an amount or for a category, approvers resolved from the organization chart or authority level, deadlines per step.

  • Change without breaking anything

Types and flows are versioned. Publish a change and new applications use it, while those in flight finish under the rules they started with.

How it works

  1. 01

    Build your organization

Departments and divisions, their heads, and import users from Excel in one go.

  2. 02

    Set roles and authority

Give people roles and authority levels, so flows can say “level 3 or above”.

  3. 03

    Design the approval type

Add the fields the request needs and the help text requesters will see.

  4. 04

    Publish the flow

Order the steps, set conditions, completion rules and deadlines, then publish.

Questions

Do we need a consultant to set it up?

No. Everything is configured in the browser by your own administrators, and changes take effect when you publish them.

What happens to applications in flight when we change a flow?

They keep the version they started with. Only new applications use the published change.

Can we follow a business calendar?

Yes. Deadlines count business hours on your organization's calendar, with its holidays.
